Club History

United City Football Club (UCFC) is a professional football club that competes in the Philippines football League (PFL), the top-tier league in Filipino football. From 2012 to July 2020, the club was known as Ceres (founded as Ceres–La Salle; renamed Ceres–Negros in 2017)

As Ceres–La Salle, their first major success in the United football League was winning the UFL Division 2 C Championship in 2014; this earned them promotion to the 1st Division. Since then, Ceres has won the UFL FA League Cup  (2014) and the UFL Division 1 Championship (2014 and 2015). The Club is a two-time PFF National Men's Club Champion (2012–13 and 2013–14) and the
2015 UFL champion. As Ceres–Negros, the club was a three-time Philippines football League champion (2017, 2018, and 2019) and winner of the 2019 Copa paulino Alcantara.
In July 2020, Ceres-Negros was renamed to United City F.C. launching its new crest and is looking to announce its permanent home ground for the 2021 season. Currently the team is led by Coach Frank Muescan together with Stephan Schröeck as the player-coach for the AFC Champions League & 2021 PFL season.
