Streaking Kaya FC-Iloilo seeks to extend its fiery run as it collides with Maharlika Manila today in another triple-header match day of the Philippines Football League.

Kaya will march with fire in its eyes in its bid to claim its fourth straight win in the 3 p.m. kickoff at the Rizal Memorial Stadium, followed by a highly-anticipated battle between United City FC and Azkals Development Team at 5:30 p.m.

Stallion Laguna FC, meanwhile, will host Dynamic Herb Cebu FC over at the Binan Football Stadium at 4 p.m.

Kaya head coach Yu Hoshide reminded his players to maintain their aggression as they cannot afford to lose after a lopsided 6-1 conquest of Mendiola FC last week.

Skipper Jovin Bedic topscored for the Iloilo-based booters with a brace while Jarvey Gayoso, Eric Giganto, Daizo Horikoshi and Jhanjhan Meliza joined the scoring party over Mendiola.
“We showed what we can really do in the second half (against Mendiola) and it was really good,” Hoshide said.

“Hopefully this season, everyone will perform well. It’s a really good competition and it’s important that all players are not selfish.”

ADT skipper Stephan Schrock, meanwhile, is up for a special reunion with his former club in United City.

It will be his first time facing United City, the very club that he steered to four straight PFL crowns before he left early this year.

Despite the highly-anticipated action, the veteran midfielder said his task of guiding the young Azkals to victory will be very important.

“There is a very special reminder that the boys should always bring everything into the table,” Schrock said following their 4-0 victory over Maharlika last week.

“When you’re young, you are very unstable and you have to perform at a certain level to excel.”
