Defending champion United City FC aims to fortify its spot in second place when it faces Stallion Laguna FC Saturday in the Philippines Football League at the Biñan Football Stadium in Laguna.
Both squads clash at 4 p.m. with the winner getting the second spot.

UCFC has a record of two wins and one draw for seven points while Stallion has two wins and two losses for six points in the league table.

Over at the Philippine Football Federation Training Center in Carmona, Cavite, Cebu Football Club takes on Manila Maharlika FC also at 4 p.m.

Both UCFC and Stallion are looking to get back into the win column.

UCFC drew with Cebu, 1-1, last 20 August at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

JB Borlongan was the lone scorer for UCFC as the defending champion settled for a point after 90 minutes.

The Stallion, on the other hand, lost to Kaya FC-Iloilo, 3-0, last Saturday.

Jarvey Gayoso, Jovin Bedic and Daizo Horikoshi scored for Kaya FC-Iloilo.
