Officially, United Clark can literally play as United Clark.

The club officially announced on Tuesday that they will finally get to play its home matches for the rest of the PFL season at the New Clark City Athletic Stadium here.

Two home matches have been formally scheduled to take place at the said venue, one against the Azkals Development Team coached by former United Clark skipper Stephan Schrock on Oct. 22 and the other against Stallion Laguna on Nov. 5.

With this, United Clark officially becomes the first PFL club to call a place in Central Luzon home.

“To represent Central Luzon and bring football to the local community is a major step in the development of professional football in the country,” club president Eric Gottschalk said during the press conference following the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Central Luzon Football Association.

Gottschalk and CLFA president Alvin Yalung signed the MOU as they were joined too by Philippine Football Federation secretary-general Ed Gastanes and Bases Conversion and Development Authority senior vice president Arrey Perez.

According to United Clark, ticket selling for both matches will begin on Wednesday.

The club has two more matches scheduled this month, an Oct. 8 clash against Mendiola and an Oct. 15 battle against Dynamic Herb Cebu in the latter’s turf, the Dynamic Herb Sports Complex in Talisay City.
