United City FC Welcomes Ariel “Tuco” Ngueukam to the Squad
United City FC is excited to announce the signing striker of Ariel “Tuco” Ngueukam, a professional footballer from Cameroon, to our team. Standing at 1.88cm, Tuco brings a wealth of experience and skills to our team, which will strengthen our attacking options.
Tuco’s love for football began on the local pitches of Yaoundé, where he played for FC Achille de Sa’a and FC Lotus-Terek. His talent quickly caught the attention of scouts, leading him to move across Europe and beyond in pursuit of his footballing dreams.
Although he initially faced setbacks during trials in Hungary and Bulgaria, Tuco found his stride with Finnish second-division club JIPPO, where he made an immediate impact by scoring 13 goals in his first 11 matches. This remarkable feat opened up new opportunities, leading him to join FC Lahti in the Finnish first division in 2012.
During his time with FC Lahti, Tuco demonstrated his scoring abilities, including a memorable debut where he scored two goals on 31 August 2012. He later played for clubs across Europe and the Middle East, including Turkish side Denizlispor, Israeli Premier League club Hapoel Ra’anana, and Qatari outfit Al-Khor.
Tuco returned to Finland, where he signed for KuPS and then rejoined SJK and Ilves for multiple seasons. His experience and leadership on the pitch made him a valuable asset to every team he’s been a part of, earning him the admiration of fans and teammates alike.
